The Veranda

Since we had the first rain at our new house, we realized we were going to need a veranda to cover the slab which had been really badly built! It drained water back towards the house and was generally unpleasant in the wet weather. Also we couldnt leave furniture outside which is my favourite place to be when its raining in Africa, watching the rain…

So, we started out like this in January
