Timber Clad Wall

I always had a strong distaste for the varnished brick wall in our dining room – the varnish had yellowed over time and it felt cold. Figured it was time to try something different, and timber cladding was on my mind. I bought some old pallets but the timber was in a shocking state and the price was quite ridiculous (elsewhere they are free, but not in Africa) so some 1×4 PAR pine and cover strips from the hardware store was my starting point.
